Green Cherkaska clay has a dense structure, distinguished by a rich taste of herbs and freshly mown hay. Due to its hardness, it is difficult to bite off a large piece, so it is recommended to pre-chop the clay into small pieces. When chewed, the clay crunches for a long time and gradually turns into a soft clay porridge in the mouth. In the process, a barely noticeable astringency from small grains is felt. The clay does not stick to the teeth and does not creak, which makes its use comfortable and pleasant.
